I have heard of guys ripping up their lower torque boxes, but has anyone damaged their upper rear control arm mounting brackets? I already have "battleboxes" on the lowers, but looking at the upper mounts, the factory crossmember just being spotwelded from the factory seems kinda flimsy. I plan to at least stich weld the crossmember to the floorpan, but I wonder if running a couple of tubes from my roll bar to the upper mounts may be a good idea. Any suggestions? By the way, its a fairly mild naturualy aspirated carbed 302, with a 5speed & slicks. I doubt it`ll ever see the 11`s, but ya never know whats in the future!

UPR makes a upper kit like your lower kit.. They can pull from the floor.... I have mine done with the plates upper and lower.. With 1.4x 60' and 6600 RPM lanuches they are holding nicely...
