Guys, I want to pull the headliner out and have a paintless dent guy work on the roof a bit, next week. Can I reinstall the stock headliner, which is in pretty good shape, or is the removal going to kill it? Thanks!

I had mine out to have the PDR work done a few weeks back before my car was painted. I had zero issues reinstalling it. The backing on it is cardboard so try not to fold it too much when removing it.

I'll cover the interior with a tarp, then. No sunroof.

The trim holds it up there is no glue but the factory sound deadener will be brittle and cause a mess. Nothing a quick run with a vacuum can't handle but it gets everywhere. I would do like suggested above and order some sound deadener material to put up there while you have it down while you are pulling it.

Pulling out the center windshield trim panel (above it) went very badly. Bent it all to hell, because the clips held on for dear life until they didn't and I pulled the left side down too far while the other clips were still in. I couldn't find another grey one to replace it. So, I have a black one on the way. I need to find the grey interior paint for it. Can anyone help me find the right dark grey interior paint for a '93? I see opal gray on lmr, but they only list just it, one color, for a '93. I need the dark gray color similar to the top of the dash, gauge cluster bezel, and shifter bezel.

Also, LMR wants gold for their paint($99/pint). I only need to paint 1 small piece of trim.

You could head over to Home Depot with your trim piece and see if they have something similar in the spray paints. That’s probably what I would do. There’s some dark grays they sell on LMR for Svo’s that look darker than the opal gray. That’s an option.

I wish I could be of some help to you Chris.

If I had the part, I could match it and mix some paint up easy peasy. Since you’re in California though........sorry brother.
