I have a '93 Mustang GT. Is it possible to relocate the oil filler spout over to the driver side, towards the front of the car? I want to use an oil breather cap to but i have a strut tower brace that travels directly over the oil filler tube currently located in the passenger side toward the front of the car.

Would relocating the oil filler tube to the driver side be only a matter of choosing the correct valve covers? Is it even possible to fill the engine with oil from the driver side? If so, which valve covers should i get?

Looking in the Ford Racing catalog, i see M-6582-A351R which has holes on both valve covers. The catalog indicates that the valve covers will fit a 5.0L EFI but it's characterized as an "EFI Truck Valve Cover". Will this still fit in a '93 GT?

I dont think swaping sides with the VC's will work, leaving the stock filler neck in place. That would put the filler neck at the rear of the drivers side which most likely wouldnt clear most intakes.

You could get 2 stock passenger side VC's, drill a hole with a hole saw and mount one of the trick flow filler necks in the front of the drivers side. That might work.

the heads are not left and right specific so I would say yes you could get some valve covers that have holes in both or try swapping sides with the valve covers.

If they are stock heads they are. I believe the smog holes are in the back of heads, so you wouldn't be able to switch them around.

It might be cheaper to cut the full tube down on the valve cover and weld it or JB weld it. My oil cap is hard to get off because of my STB, so I have the same issues.
