I just replaced my stock pump... it's in perfect condition, just wanted to replace w/ a high pressure while the pan was off, and engine up...

Everyone still going? I'll probably rally by. I've got the most annoying rattle in the world on my exhaust. Someone shoudl really figure out where it is and fix it for me!

you don't really need a high volume pump unless you have an all out motor that spends most of it's time in the higher rev band, all it would do is draw a lot of horsepower. the more important thing to do is to buy either a motorcraft or ARP hardened oilpump driveshaft. I've bought both and the ARP one I trust. anyways thats the weak link in the oiling system.
