Due to Los Angeles car theft history, I was wondering if there is any good remote trunk locks that I can purchase with minimal or no drilling. I was considering a 87-00 mustangs remote trunk lock but I wasnt sure if there isnt anything else that would be better for my stang. I already have a built in alarm system with a kill switch. I just need to keep theifs from jump starting my engine by simply opening the hood.

I'm not quite sure which you're asking about... are you asking about a hood lock or a trunk release? In either case, check out these from the junkyard engineering projects on my site:

Bolt-in electric trunk release: http://groups.msn.com/DBsMustang/trunklatch.msnw

Bolt-in cable hood release: http://groups.msn.com/DBsMustang/hoodrelease.msnw

Both should work for your '70 just as well as they do for mine.

Hope this helps...

I've got a hood release that has the ignition kill that i'd sell. You have to drill a hole in your firewall and mount the pushbutton under the dash. PM me if interested.
