Removal Of QUAD SHOCKS

My drivers side quad shock is leaking...so i'm going to take them out since I plan on getting wider tires soon....now my question is....should I get upper or lower control arms....eventually i will do both....but what will be the best choice for now....these quad shocks are squeaking real bad so please respond fast

LCAs with poly urethane type bushings should take care of any wheel hop that the quad shocks were designed to do.

LCAs mean you can remove the quad shocks.

i have the bbk uca/lca set, but the sway bar was broken when i bought my car and has been removed. can i still remove the quads or should i leave them on?
