Removal of rotor in dist.?

This is probably one of those stupid questions but o well...
Right now I'm doing a tune-up and finally got to the distributor. I pulled the cap off but I don't know how to get the rotor off, please help.

yeah some laugh, but I seriously had to pull my distributer on my Jeep and pull it off w/ pliars...it was on real tight. I pried it and everything...it sucked. Most of the time, yeah, you can just give it a tug and it will come off.
