Removing A/C, anything I need to know

well I'm taking out my a/c unit and everything else it comes with, is there anything I should know when taking it out

p.s. the car is stripped down past the heads so pretty much everything is off and the a/c didn't work to well when I used it so I don't know how much refrigerent is left in the system.

also what length belt would I need, i have no smog pump either and will be using UD pulleys, thanks.

I am sure its a 70.5 or somewhere close to that length. Just use a piece of string and rout it the way its supposed to go and measure the length.

As far as the a/c goes just rip everything you can find. There is alot of stuff. I weighed it all in a box and it was near 45 pounds. HAHHAHAHa
