I recently swapped an 89 tilt column in and I want to remove all the air bag wires and sensors. I've heard there are two blue chimes under the dash and another 1 or two crash sensors in the front? I also want to remove the cruise control stuff so if anyone can tell me where everything is i'd appreciate it....pictures would be nice too, if anyone has em.

I might be wrong but i belive if you remove the VSS from the cruise control you will have problems with the driveability. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

The VSS is the sensor that plugs into the trans though isn't it? I'm only talking about the sensor or whatever it is that I heard is in the fender...

You should have 3 crash sensors mounted between the top of the radiator support and the front grill. The air bag control blue box is behind the radio and a/c controls. Remove the air bag dash light bulbs also or it will continue to flash.

Your cruise control servo is in you driver's side fender well, control box in or around the driver's side kick panel. There's a brake petal sensor that you won't need. Your looking about 20 lbs of weight saving.
