after i have all the interior panels off and out of the way, what has to be done to remove the c pillars. i know there are some bolts holding them on. do i have to remove the a pillar to get the c pillar off. there looks to be some tabs mounted to the c pillar. i dont wanna make any more paint work than has to be done already!

I'm pretty sure you do have to pull the a-pillars at the same time. If you look at the brackets for the C-pillar, the front of it goes under the a-pillar trim. Either it just slides into a slot, or it is bolted on underneath the a-pillar. If you want to be sure, call MPS auto salvage!

ok got all the bolts for the c pillar off. i cant see how the a pillar is held on. no bolts that i can see anywhere. the c pillar will not come off without removing the a pillar.

if i could see pics of the rear side of the a pillar i might be able to remove them
