Is there anyway to take the cable off of the quad without slacking it up underneath the car? I don't have any jacks and my driveway is on a huge hill..i'm installing a steeda double hook with a firewall adjuster

You shouldn't need to unhook at the trans...when the clutch pedal is pushed in, it's PULLING the clutch cable from a rest position, so if you get under there with some pliers you can just pull the clutch cable outa the stock quad. Just pull the pedal ALL the way up, this will give you the most room.
