Removing dealer sticker

Anyone have any suggestions on removing the dealer's name sticker from my rear decklid? I want to get this off soon before there is any noticable paint fade.

loosen it up by putting alittle heat to it with a hair dryer, then peel it off, you can use goo be gone to get the glue off if needed.

Mine just came right off with the careful use of a fingernail. It was kind of warm that day(80s). Shined up nice and makes the car look so much better

I demanded that SOB be taken off before the deal was even struck!!! I HATE when dealers try and get away with taging cars like that, most people do drive around with the logo on there and don't even care, but NO way on my cars... Just food for thought when you purchase your next car.

Try Goo-Gone. Won't harm the paint. What it does is disolves the glue and you can peel the sticker right off. Works great on old inspection, city, and tax stickers on windshield and other areas of your car. won't harm the paint.

hair dryer with a finger nail or plastic razorblade.

Follow up with WD-40 to remove the goo if you don't have Goo Gone.

Wax when done.

DON'T use GOOF OFF

that is too strong and can damage things

The wife is into scrapbooking and she has this little plastic tool that looks like a pencil with a flat blade and rounded edges.

Hot sunny day, lifted up the edges with the tool and pulled the vinyl off.

Easy, of course there were over 30 letters and the logo, so it took a few minutes!

Heat gun or hair dryer and some 3M decal remover from NAPA.

Goo Gone is good; if you have Spray 'n' Wash in the laundry room, it does the same job, just a little more obnoxious in the smell department.

My dealer used to fasten plates on the front advertising his business. My state doesn't require front plates and his plates put holes in the bumper.
I have told him that if it puts holes in the bumper he will replace it or no sale. He has quit doing that at least on the vehicles I buy from him.
