I heard removing both of these helps your car breath and reduces the amount of heat generated is that true? I don't care about emissions testing and I never use the AC, and I would like to remove both of these components, could someone tell me how to? I have a 96 gt. Also whats with the egr valve, is that another restricting device? thanks

egr doesnt restrict anything, if you straight up remove it your car will run like **** without getting it retuned. the only other smog device to remove on 4.6L motors would be the cats. there is no smog pump, except on the 96-98 cobras, and that wasnt belt driven.

Keep the AC man. You never know if you're going to have to move to Arizona or something suddenly.
