well im thinking of removing the air-silencer.now does it make a difference in performance or sound? Can someone tell me how to do it or have step by step pictures i can see,and can i mess anything up by doing this or if i do something wrong.

Just unbolt the fender bolt that's on the airbox, move it to the side and pull the silencer out. It won't be anything you can feel but if you do 10 things that make only a bit of difference it adds up in the end. It may sound a bit more throaty afterwards. You may also want to throw in a replacement k$n while you're in there.

I never noticed any increased noise with the silencer removed.

I only started hearing intake noise after the CAI.

Hmm, I named the car Jezebelle ('cause she's a fast woman  ), I guess she can inhale pretty deeply now. . . :D
