The only reminder of my interior is my inter vents where the heat blows from. Seems like I found the visible bolts to remove it but it just won't budge. Anyone ever removed this before? Any help appreciated.

I took the one out of the 88. Wasn't too bad, there are 2 or 3 bolts inside, and 3 outside as I recall. Once those are loose, the heater hoses off, and the AC disconnected, make sure all the interior controls are disconnected. Once all that is done, loosen the dash, and it will work right out. You have to pull the dash back quite a ways to get it all out though.

Good Luck!

There are nuts on the firewall in the engine compartment you have to remove, and there are also several bolts (including one way up at the top of the big box) in the passenger compartment.. you may not be able to get to that without removing the dash. As stated above you also need to disconnect the heater core hoses in the engine compartment.
