My vote is for the tko-600. The t-56 just has the "cool"factor of a 6-speed....doesnt really do much else. 2-over drives with the final one being about the same as any other performance manual transmission.And im pretty sure it holds less power than the tko-600, unless you upgrade to the viper spec which = $$$$$. But im not positive on the power ratings.

I tried the TKO swap with no luck, got horrible vibrations. To many factors to figure out.
G-Force tranny's fit just as good as stock, NO HASSLES! if you get the 94-95 version, Check out astro performance, thats where I got mine. $1695 plus a core charge, no extra parts needed unlike the TKO swap. Alot of guys are running consistent 9's every weekend with the straight cut dog-ring setup.

That is not so in my eyes when we called their tech support and got them to walk us thru indexing it with a Lakewood housing and all. We are sending them fluid this week from the trans that has metal chunks in it to see if that is due to incorrect installation.
Now the 98 is a different story, still trying to get a return number from them and labor reimbursment for removal and re-installation. but they are working with them on that one.
