replacement brakes

Raybestos Ceramics front and back. $88 for four corners plus tax. Just installed them on 81 notch...(I have 2001 brakes all the way around) Car stops great, and the brake dust is next to none. I have chrome wheels so it's nice you can go a whole tank of gas in the city and not have to wash your wheels.

I'm partial to Brembo Blanks. They are just as cheap as parts store rotors and higher quality.

I just bought em for my GT. $45 for the front and $35 for the rear

I've got a second job working part time job at the local Murray's Auto Parts store and we sell the Raybestos line.
My discount is kind of shallow on the Rays but, I was wondering if you have ever used Hawk Brake Pads?
The reason I ask is because I was wondering what the comparison is between the Rays ceramics vs. a set of Hawk HPS when it comes to improving overall braking ability.
Anybody got anything on that subject?

I haven't tried Hawk pads. I almost bought some for my Cobra, but I hate waiting for simple parts, so I just bought Raybestos for that car too.

I'm telling you, the more I drive my 81 notch, the more I like the ceramics. They seriouslly have next to no dust. My Cobra has the semi-metallic pads and they get dirty really fast.

What pads did you have before the ceramics? Was there any performance gain with the ceramics?
