Hi, my friend lost his keyless entry remote for his 98 stang. Dealer wants and arm and a leg for a new one and ebay has 'em for about $20.
I found some reprograming instructions online but how do I know if I am buying the correct remote??? One of the adds on ebay says there is a number on the remote and to cross reference it to the old remote but since its missing is there a reference number on the car somewhere?????
