Replacement lower control arms with 1 7/16 or 1 9/16 bushings

I am replacing my lower control arms on my 1968 with a 302 4v. The originals had the 1 & 7/16inch bushings I believe, but is there any advantage to going to the lower control arms with the 1 9/16 bushings? Will they even fit?

Also, for the upper control arms, should I stick with the standard shaft kit or the improved designs? This will be a daily driver.

not sure on the bushing size. but, seeing as its going to be a DD its upgrade what you can right now while its apart for a higher quality ride
