Replacement (smaller?) Starter

I'm getting ready to swap in a new transmission and it's a killer time to put in a new starter while the longtubes aren't in the way. The starter I have now (looks like stock or a stock replacement) rides no more than a 1/4 inch from the collector on my longtubes so I want one that is smaller than stock if possible.

Budget is no more than $200. What do you recommend?

Thanks for the reply - excuse my laziness but does our starter harness connect right up or will I need to splice some wires?
