Hey guys, I've got a couple of salvage mustangs and one of them needs new air bags. Looks pretty straight forward, but I have a few questions:
1) I assume all I need is the two bags and the airbag module. Is there anything else I'm missing - there are no sensors on these cars is there - the module works with inertia???
2) Where is the airbag module in the car, haven't had a real good look yet but didn't notice it when I was crawling around in the car.
3)Can I use any 99-04 bags or are they year specific (the car is an 03)
4) Finally, anyone got a set of charcoal bags for sale?
Thanks for the answers, Tyler

i also replaced the airbags on my ride. it was a few years ago. there are no sensors. just the module. i believe its down between the fuel peddle and the passenger foot area. right in the center and can be accessed from the passenger side. i do not believe they are year specific. i would search ebay. there are always a few forsale on there.

the bags are pretty simple. driver side is really easy. passenger side can be accessed from inside the glove box i believe. shouldnt take you too long!

unhook the battery if it isnt already. and don't sit there when its hooked up either. incase it decides to deploy!!!
