replacing quad shocks with solid bar?

He should be fine without the quad shocks all together as long as he gets a good set of upper and lower control arms.

Fixxored. It's not the fix-all solution for everyone. Brand, quality, and type are factors as well.

Somebody should post a before and after 60 ft test on a car that has aftermarket control arms with quads and without. Of course this means QUALITY proven control arms, not the run of the mill bbk or mac garbage. If quad shocks were some badass suspension secret they would be used more widely and would be on the FAST stock style suspension or DR cars or even some sort of class built car.

If you have stock control arms and take them off, you are gonna wheelhop so bad, **** is probably gonna break though lol.

I agree with you that your 60 Ft Times will be better with Quads in place. In a Class Built Car there is alot of extra bracing and probably a cage in the car that the average street car is not going to have so the quads will benefit us much more in stopping the axle housing from rotating or damping any violent oscillations.
