Replacing radiator

I have a leaking radiator that I'm going to replace. I'm also planning on replacing the coolant hoses and thermostat since I have the system drained. I was wondering if I should also replace the heater core at this time even though I have read and heard it is a PITA. My vert has 60K on it.

I have a 95 stang with 165.000 mile and orig heater core ,pluse you have to pull the dash to replace it ,I think they will last long if you do-not put well watter in the system, I always go buy a little watter at the store and mix it with mostly antifreeze

Radiator and hoses shouldn't be very hard to replace at all. Maybe a couple of hours and a roll of paper towel to soak up spilled coolant.

The heater cores in the Fox Mustangs typically go bad every 60,000 miles. That job will probably take you the better part of a weekend to get done. Also, try to find a OEM heater core, some of the aftermarket unit ones are not as durable as the factory pieces.
