I am at the point in my Mustang where the plugs should be replaced.

I am thinking about getting the Bosch Platinum 4 Pin Plugs, is there any benefit to the 4 pin over the 2 or even 1 pin plugs?

Thanks in advance.

don`t bother with the bosch thery are junk. i`ve had nothing but trouble with them in every car i`ve ever put them in. +4`s lasted about 22,000 miles on my 98 3.8. pulled them out and the center electrode was completly gone. same thing in a 98 4.0 sohc explorer standard bosch platinums and a 97 firebird 3800v6. bosch are supposed to last 100,000miles. yeah right. just go with Autolite double platinums. Autolite manufactures ford motorcraft factory plugs any way. so they will be a direct replacement. the bosch plugs won`t give you any more power either

I agree go with autolites. I have tried the iridiums, and +4 platinums, they are not worth the extra cash. I have heard the split fires suck, so do yourself a favor and keep the extra dough and get some cheapies cause they are the best deal and work the best as well.
