replacing timing chain and lifters.

i didnt soak them in oil. i put them in dry so i could set the preload, then dumped some oil on them once everything was bolted on except the intake. after i got the intake on and everything ready to go i primed the oil system, you can see the torn apart distributor i use to prime it in some of the above pics.
well i relsealed the intake and changed the oil, and it still got a **** load of water in the motor. the only other thing i can think of would be the timing cover so i took that back off. i could be the head gaskets but i highly doubt it. there brand new fel pros. and the motor isnt over heating. just filling up with water after about 5 minutes of running. the timing cover gasket didnt look torn at all (like i over tightened it or something)

this is crapola im missing skewl today (automotive technology at Joliet Junior College) because i dont transportation

alright. its all back together. i started it without any coolant cause if its still leaking i didnt want to get the oil full of water again. but it ran good for about a minute then died.

any ideas?i need some help on this.
