Reproduction Fenders - Mustangs Unlimited

During My Repaint I Came Up With This Info . As Of Right Now Only One Place Makes Every Fender U See Anywhere And They Are All Chinese Made. I Have A 68 And Was Able To Get The Rear Quarters With The Marker Indents After 2 Orders But The Fake Air Inlet Part For Rear Brakes Was Wrong. And It Was 67 Style .so I Had To Cut Those Parts Off The 68 Panels And Weld Them In For A Proper Look.so Yeah If U Can Find Nos Or Oem Get Em .if U Have A 65 Or 66 Maybe Youll Have Better Luck With The Repro Stuff ?

Not good at all, go to one of the last pages on my home page and see for your self. The top has been broken for years and most of it is trashed cosmetically. Things like seat frames and such are probably still Ok as well as knobs and switches but that is about it. I am determined to try and salvage the lower AC section though and convert my car.

So how come you are looking for a second car now? Not having good luck with this one?

The fender is for a '66 FB... thanks for the help.

I'd prefer to go original, but I think I have a good deal on a set from Mustangs Unlimited (through a private seller) that's too good to pass up. I've always understood the less expensive versions can be hit or miss on the fit. Are these inexpensive repros thinner gauge metal than the originals - and do they have the support bracing on the backside?
