I'm thinking of getting a 02 S281 with a non s/c. I'm going to put a KB on it. What extra mods if any do I need to get for the engine to handle the power? I think also I need to get a stage 3 clutch.

02 s281? Good, you already have the 18" with fat wide tires, that's all you need for the 9psi kit.
If you're to going to change the clutch, put an alum flywheel while it's open!

Thank you. All the other mods you have listed under your car do I need any of those. I'm want to get between 430-450 horses once i'm all done. As for the alum flywheel can that handle all the HP. How much did it cost?

You only need the whole intake package from KB, which is worth another 30+rwhp over stock because of the stock restrictions : KB cold air (includes a 12" K&N, 90mm MAF, 75mm TB and 75mm big pipe).
For the alum flywheel I don't know yet, I'll have installed in a week, along with T56 tranny. For sure it will make a difference on lower gears. On the dyno, since it's done in 4th gear, it might still improve by a few rwhp but should be less significant than on a stepper gear.
Since you car is non s/c it should already have the gears, an alum driveshatf would be nice though!

thanks again. What did you pay for your KB if you dont mind me asking? They have so many different ones listed. I don't know where to start.
