I read about this before. Kind of scares me about my dads 10 sec all motor (9 sec nitrous car) but its more or less a case of wrong place at the wrong time... RIP and my prayers go to the family and friends!

They're making a huge issue about driving on tracks without concrete barriers now and rightfully so.

Not too long ago a local racer's car from Ontario jumped the metal barrier, but thankfully he was ok.

That is sad, and the concrete would have saved his life, but there are also problems with them. If anyone is into Mustang racing they know who Racin Jason was. He was killed at my local (not local but the closest one to me) track, which has concrete. His car was against the wall and where the turn off was came up and from what I was told his car smacked the wall on the far side of that and he died. Its never fun seeing someone die in a wreck, especially when they are taking it to the track where its supposed to be safer!

RIP

I heard the car was doing 111 in the 1/8th and he let out because it was all over the place, and as he came through the top end the car lost control... It really is a case of bad luck, a sad case as well!
