restoring 1968 mustang center console

Hey guys,

I'm restoring the center console of my 68 coupe. I have two questions. Does anybody know where i can get the vinyl prep solution that will allow the new dye to take. Also does anybody know what paint i can use that will match the camera case flat black?

Any Mustang supplier would have this, but so would Ford dealers.

The camera case was semi-gloss, not flat. Strangely, the Krylon from any hardware store is pretty close.
