Restoring A '65 2+2

Hello all! New member, Rushoid, here. I'm slowly restoring my Dad's (he's the original owner) 1965 Fastback and I'm always on the hunt for tips, tricks, and advice. The car was last driven on a regular basis in the mid-'80's and has been sitting (usually garaged) since. In the past 4 years I've replaced the shock towers, part of one front frame rail, both rear frame rail ends, rebuilt front and rear suspension, steering, brakes, and many other things. The original 289 has been rebuilt, the 3-speed and rear end checked out and resealed. I got her up and running just in time to take her to Charlotte for the 50th anniversary and I've been driving her and making improvements ever since. Body and paint will be the next major job, which I've never done.

I also have my wife's 2014 V6 convertible and daughter's 1999 V6 in the stable.

Looking forward to talking with you all!
