I have a 96 explorer 5.0 I am putting in my 86 GT. I reringed it and put new bearings in it, and changed to a trick flow stage one cam. The heads (GT40's, not the P's) were mildly ported to smooth them out, not enlarge them, and they were shaved .030. It's a 5 speed 3.27 gear convertible mustang it's going in and I want low to mid range power. It's going carbed with a 600 Holley and a Weiand stealth intake. Should I install the cam straight up, or should I retard it a bit? And what's a good sparkplug to run on this combo? Thanks!
