A new version of the VFI is currently in the development stages but there is not an intended release date right now. Also if you look at our design we have a patent on flowing the injector through a carburetor style booster which in turns promotes much better atomization then some of the other methods being used right now.

sweet, thanks for posting here. keep us in the loop on the development process, maybe we could even provide some feedback if you need it. i've always wanted one of the VFI systems since they first came out just never could afford one, maybe i can swing it if you release a new version. i love the fact that it uses a carb style booster to atomize the fuel, that's the best way IMO. what style of booster is it going to be running or will there be options? like downleg, annular, etc. i think spraying the fuel through an annular booster would be the most efficient way of doing it, but then again i don't have any experience with the old system so i could be way off, but it makes sense to me.

I've been waiting for my issue......dough! my subscription expired months ago....I have to correct pushrod power, the 750 actually lost 11hp and 3 ft lbs but looking at the chart it gained under 4k. I'd like to see what happened going from the quick fuel 750 to a 950 or so, obviously the 1200cfm airflow added hp and TQ, the torque increase is common for efi. The other thing the article didn't address was did they use the "self tuning" or dial it in with a laptop on the dyno? No engine specs were shown either. I'd like to see a test using a vic jr or a ported one to compare it to the air gap, on a stroker I bet there would be big gain there and with the added 30 ft lbs torque wouldn't be lost. Also bsfc was not shown either......Thats probably my biggest B---ch with mustangs and fords mag, they never get into specific detail.......its like we installed it and it works good....take our word for it....
