I'm wonderring what others have their rev limiters set to? My engine is a 347 with AFR 185's, hydraulic roller cam, lifters & rockers, RPM Air intake, Holley 670cfm, Hooker comps. It's been set to 5800 rpm, but I seem to hit it a lot if I do a burn out or launch aggressively. I would rather be safe than sorry, but wonderring how others have them set.

Depends on your Valvetrain and bottom end really.

I would guess though with what you posted somewhere from 6500-7000. Gets real fun when your chipped at 8700.

for your combination i would use a 6500 rpm rev limiter chip. for my engine, when it gets built, if i were to use a rev limiter i would set it at 6k.
