Reverse out of driveway and tranny hesitates...

What the hell is wrong w/ it? It's an auto and when I pull out of driveway and shift into drive it hesitates for like 3 secs.

Ill vote for hardening of the seals. My C4 in my 66 was doing the exact same thing...seals were rock hard and the tranny guy said that was causing it.
