How long can I run a ribbed water pump pulley before I start eating serpintine belts?? This is on a '93 lx 5.0 with reverse rotation pump (stock). The backside of the belt will be riding on the ribs vs. the smooth surface of a stocker (that I don't have).
I know I need to get the correct smooth/non-ribbed one but if I can make this last until summer (maybe 5-7k miles?) until I can buy a matching set of underdrives...
