Hey guys, i have a problem im trying to fix. What will cause a lean condition at cruising speed (i mean really lean, like 17.9 and above on my afr guage) and a rich condition when i get into the throttle just a little (like 10 on the afr guage)?
It was never like his before, i retarded my cam four degrees when I had the motor apart.
but i think it might be my timing, when i first started it it was at 0 tdc and it would stay idling, which it never did before. i thought maybe it could be a tooth off on the chain or something? I have the ignition timing set at 14 degrees still, but im not about to take the front cover off again to adjust the timing chain. So which way should i go with my ignition timing? retard it more or advance it more?
And i also have a studdering between 1900 and 2500 rpms, and i think this could be caused by messing with the cam. Maybe it screwed with my tune?I know the eec iv's are sensitive, especially to cam changes. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
