Can someone tell me how i can tell if im running rich or lean ... i have to tuner anywhere neer me so i cant get it dyno'd and i just installed longtubes ( yes i reset the computer) i replaced my drivers side O2 with a acdelco O2 if that helps any... i do have a ticking noise but i know its not an exhaust leak cause i had it before i installed my headers ( long tubes will sound a little noiser as well right? ) i think its just a loud injector.. would the cheapest way to go be a programmer like the diablo preadtor? just not sure what to do at this point considering my not really stock any more. 1 more thing does anyone elses shifter make a kind of wineing sound? or would that be from to much tranny fluid?

Usually, an aftermarket shifter is made of better metal than the stock shifter and tends to transfer more noise from the gearbox than the stock. I went through this as well, but have had no tranny problems to date. (the shifter's been on the car for 4 years or more).

As for telling if you are running rich or lean......if your check engine light is on, then you can use a scanner to read the code. If it says "system too rich"....then hence your car is too rich, and vice versa. I noticed when I put on my x-pipe that I developed a clicking noise in the exhaust as well. It drove me crazy thinking that I had a leak, to no avail. Seems to be a normal characteristic of "tuned" exhaust.......

Good luck!!
