Hello,
I have a question of what to do...I have a 98 GT AODE and want to do the Livernois intake swap with the plates. I also want to swap to the PI Cams...
I don't think I want to do a head swap because I want a blower down the road. So the rise in compression would limit that. I just want to know if this will be worth the effort and $$ here are the list of my current mods.
-4:10 FRPP GEARS
-MARCH PULLIES
-ACCUFAB PLENUM and 70MM ACCUFAB TB
-BBK CAI
-SCREAMIN' DEMON COIL PACKS
-TAYLOR 10.5 WIRES
-ZEX DRY KIT 100 SHOT
-DIABLO DELTA FLIP CHIP
-NITTO 555R's DR
My milage is also 32,000
If any one know where I can get a set of PI cams on the cheap let me know!! THANKS!

well if you are going with a blower, yes lower compression is good...the utltimate combo would be with a pi motor.....but why not go with some better cams than PI if you are going to be blown? I know vt makes some great cams, im sure one of their guys could tell you more about it. GOOD LUCK

I don't believe you can use VT cams in a NPI head. But I do agree about getting better cams than the PIs. If you are going through the trouble then might as well put some better ones in. I have Comp Cams in my NPI car and it runs great. Plus the sound of the exhaust is nice. Here is a sound clip of mine.
