Was it a custom job making it RHD, or does Ford actually produce Mustangs like that?

Pretty cool, though it'd be a pain to have to open the passenger door just to pop the hood.

Actually Ford did not do the conversion it was organised by Mustang Australia a private dealer. All new cars have to be Right Hand drive for Rego.

Its very disconcerting. I would get in a head-on faster than you can say Jack Robinson. Nice brushed chrome center stack though.

Thanks the IUP does look cool.
The problem with LHD down under is it freaks out your passenger too much when overtaking on single lanes as you have to put half the car out into the oncoming lane before you can see if it's clear or not.It would be the same with RHD over there.

Does anybody know why you guys are LHD and we are RHD.

] the French Revolution of 1789 gave a huge impetus to right-hand travel in Europe. The fact is, before the Revolution, the aristocracy travelled on the left of the road, forcing the peasantry over to the right, but after the storming of the Bastille and the subsequent events, aristocrats preferred to keep a low profile and joined the peasants on the right. An official keep-right rule was introduced in Paris in 1794

Probly for the same reason water in the toilet in the southern hemisphere spins in the opposite direction when flushing.

Kidding aside google search says it's because British subjects would pass each other on the left in case they had to go for their swords quickly to defend themselves. go figure.

It drops jaws as nobody has seen them on the road before. Apart from mine and the other ones at the dealers I've never seen any on the road as there are only 20-30 S197s Down Under at the moment. Because of how dear they are mostly collectors have them [tucked away in the garage]so not too many actually on the road.

Cheers Mate. John Pony.

I just had breakfast with a buddy who was in Paris last week and witnessed the Parisians going absolutely crazy over a 2007 Black GT that some GI had driven down from Germany.

He said the way that they were snapping pictures and calling up their friends you would have thought that it was some celebrity / royalty or something....

American Muscle.

GOTTA LOVE IT!
