I just had breakfast with a buddy who was in Paris last week and witnessed the Parisians going absolutely crazy over a 2007 Black GT that some GI had driven down from Germany.

He said the way that they were snapping pictures and calling up their friends you would have thought that it was some celebrity / royalty or something....

American Muscle.

GOTTA LOVE IT!

Don't think you could use them here anyways, without rewiring, as the amber would come on when you hit the brakes.

Sorry all part of the dealers conversion and not sure where they get those parts from but all S197's have to comply to that down under. Yes rewired so the amber portion only comes on with your turn signal activation not the brake.

I am not worried about the wiring...I just think it would be nice to have the only car in California with Aussy tail lights.....

I've always wondered this, but your pictures don't address it as you have an automatic. When RHD's are stick....does the clutch stay on the left like LHD cars or is it switched to the right?

Maybe I'm reading your posted questoin wrong but wouldn't it HAVE to be on the right with the gas and brake so the driver can shift unless you wanna power**** everywhere you go or pay a passenger to ride with you all the time. Teach them when to shift based on the sound and hope that your minds are synced. Maybe I read it wrong. I appoligize if that sounded a little duh.

Haha...yes, you've got the wrong interpretation. What I meant was, as you're looking at the foot controls...on a LHD vehicle, you see (from l to r) clutch, brake, gas. Is the layout the same on a RHD vehicle?

Although tandem driving could prove to be interesting. lol

Yes same configuration (from l to r) clutch, brake, gas. just on the right hand side instead of the left.

K...thanks! I imagine it would take some getting used to learning the gear pattern in reverse and shifting with your left hand....
