Right Side Header....HELP

yeah that the egr tube and it totally sucks. If you have pb blaster spray the crap out of it, and getting a wrench on it is a pain and you may only get a quarter turn at a time. Its a pain and really no good way to do it. Just take your time.
it shouldnt mess anything up running one stock and one jba. Shorty headers are kinda a waste of money anyway. Ford has done a great job on header flow and people usually never see a gain with shorties. Good luck!!!!!

I hate that tube. I had no luck getting that nut to turn. I would sugget using PB several times. Hit it with PB, wait 20 minutes then hit it again with PB. If you still cannot get it to budge, try heating it up with a blowtorch. Being careful not to burn anything else, I wouuld get that thing red hot and then try turning it with a tight fitting wrench. Tight as you dont want to round off the edges. They will bend more easily when red hot. Also, try and dab up some of the PB with a cloth before you heat. PB burns...so heat gradualy as to let the PB burn off slowly. IDK... maybe spray a little brake cleaner on before you heat to get that off, then let dry and then heat.

I had to do the same thing with the header collector nuts. Only I had a little help from an impact wrench..... slowwwly. Wish there was more I could tell you. There isnt any real easy way to get that thing off.

Hit it with a torch until it's good and hot, then spray it with some penetrating oil. The cool oil will draw up into the threads. Be warned that it will smoke like hell and look like the car is on fire, but it helps tremendously, to do it this way. I've had great success doing this on parts that were too rusted to come apart. It'll still be a bit tight to come apart, but it should work.
