Does anybody know how deep of an offset an 89 LX can take front and back. I found some rims that would look good but they are a +42mm offset all around,they are 17'' inch tires by 7" will they fit?
All I know is that + 24 offset is the max you could go without the wheel interfering with the front strut and the rear inner fender well.
A lower numerical (+) positive offset will bring the wheel farther out of the fenderwell.
Thats how the guys at Discount Tire explained to me and thats how I got the look you see in the pics.
I'm not a wheel expert so I hope someone jumps in her and answers your question
