would it be dumb to have regular chrome bullits up front and have 18x10.5 dished bullits in back like these http://www.wheelreplicas.com/bullitt.htm? just wondering what your thoughts are.

I think it'd look great. That is a huge trend now, one size larger in diameter in the rear compared to the front. I've never seen anyone do it with 17 front, 18 rear, usually the min in the front is 18" with a 19" or even 20" in the rear. That fat lip on the 10.5" wide bullitts is sweet. That's what I'm after with my next set of wheels.

Yes, go for it. I was thinking about getting original 98 Cobra's and sending two to Weldcraft. Want to make the rears 17 X 10.5 and run 315-35-17 Drag Radials out back. Just don't have the cash right now.

That would look sweet

I'd love to see if it's been done with those wheels.

Vib, look at the new Drift-R wheel from ROH. It looks a lot like a '98 cobra wheel, but it has a fat lip. Its only avail in 9" wide max though. Here's a pic of it. If I had a stock appearing stang, I'd MOST DEFINITELY go for these wheels...

I couldnt find those in Chromers. The pic there looks like chrome, but the silvery finish is ALOT of bucks, and the 17" is only listed as 8" wide

They say Drift R. I like the ROH Modena design but they come in 18 and 19 in. The Snyper's aren't too bad either. http://www.groupawheels.com/prod01.htm

Man, I do like those Drift Wheels. They even look good on the Skyline shown. How much are those bad boys?

I agree Joe. I would love those in chrome, but they are expensive in mg, and theyre only 8" on a 17" rim

Yea a grand on the rims alone is steep in my book. I like the lip on those though. This is why I still have the stock rims on my car. I've picked out rims before only to have the rug pulled out from under me. Guess I'll keep the waffles a bit longer.

I like most of the wheels ROH makes, there some of my favorite aftermarket besides ford, but they are spendy and not always in the right size...just thought i'd add that.

Joe, You know I was considering the regular Cobra Chromes, but after seeing the wider lip, I like those better. Because of pricing, how do you think the chrome bullets with the wide lip would look on my car??
