I'm planning on connecting a new set of rims to my '66 coupe, and I've more or less decided to go with 17s, but I'd like to see some rear shots of 7 and 8" wide rims (skinned and attached) to some of your stangs to try to decide on width. I assume my stock wheels are 6" wide but I dont have conclusive measurements on that. I want wide tires but I don't want to overdo it either.

Also, i have stock lugs, and from what I've read on here the adapters that would allow me to attach new rims only handle so much power. I'm sure I'm not making enough now to stress that link, but I'd like to plan ahead and make sure everything is as solid as possible, what are my options there?

best thing would be to do a search, this has been discussed on here hundreds of times. You'll get alot more cumulative results that way.

True, and I've seen many of them but in all those threads I've seen maybe one or two front/rear shots.
