rims and tires

i was curious what the biggest rim and tire combination i could fit on my 66 mustang coupe v8 with a stock suspension. it will be my daily driver so if i dont really want it to rub at all im just getting ready to buy some rims so any advice would be great thanks guys you rock:SNSign: oh and have i ever said how amazing this sight is god im on it at least a few times a day! who ever was the creator behind this thank you...and thank all of you guys for all the amazing advice u give

biggest as in tallest on stock suspension?? 20X8 w/ 235/35/20

a 20" rim will fit? without rub or anything? i had heard taht a sixteen will rub in the reer if the car is full of people or such im not doubting you just trying to get everything to fit together thanks again for the info

you can fit a "narrow" 20 wheel, and the tire cant be or shouldnt be wifer then a 235mm. Thes a few guys around here with 20's.It doesnt look right but they fit.The offset it main thing as to where they sit in the wheel well.heres a couple of 67 and 69

The only classics I have ever seen look good with >17" rims are the two posted above^^^ The black one could sit a tad lower. Nice pics

i didnt want to go that big i just wasnt even sure if a 17 would fit on there but thank s alot guys im goign to be buying the rims soon

theres a lot of cars on here with 17"'s. I've had mine since about 1994 and people thought I was crazy when American Racing gave one of the first sets they made.

Human nature doesn't change. I remember when people thought I was strange for insisting on 15" rims instead of 14s.
