RIMS!?

knew a guy here in town with a 03 GT that had sportlines, 18x11 simmons wheels with 335s. thats WITH tailpipes. i do remember him saying he had to 'massage' the rear fender lips.

i do not know what the offset of the wheels were as im sure that played a big role.

I have 335/35/17s on 17x10.5" rears, and I'm quite certain I could run tailpipes if I didn't love the way my dumps sounded so much.

That's how close to the fender edge they came. I do have rolled fenders, but they were rolled beforehand. I'm pretty sure these won't fit unless you roll them otherwise. Unless you are going with a wheel that has a different offset and backspacing than traditional aftermarket Mustang wheels, I would worry more about the fender lip than the tail pipes. I'm confident that I could get some tailpipes in there without rubbing if I wanted to.

Bet that rides like hell... but MAN i never get tired of looking at it! I envy your stance.

I've seen 345's on an 03 Cobra over on SVTPerformance.com

The IRS really limits clearence under there so there's even more room for a wider tire with an LRA GT.
