I was looking on mustang unlimited and see
Motive Gear Performance 4.30:1 Ring & Pinion Set for $190 are these a good brand or who should I go with? I notice ford racing doesn't make 430 gears or at least not on cjponyparts websit.

and can any one give me legit gas mileage difference with 430 vs stock in my 96 cobra. looking mainly at highway because I love taking it on trips.

Mine, with 373's, and a 5 speed, around town I lost nothing (I was just always cruising in 5th versus being in 4th), but on the highway, I lost 5 mpg.

What are you rpm's @ 70? I only lost 1 when I swapped a 373 in one of my old cars.

Went from doing roughly 2000 rpm to roughly 2500 rpm at 70 mph with the gear change, from 308 to 373.
