Finished welding and metal work.
Got the entire front clip striped and cleaned, 3 hours of taping.

SPI Epoxy primer to seal.

Next up will be body and filler work on the engine bay followed by more epoxy primer then 2 K primer.

Do you use a media blaster to strip it down to the metal?

Engine bay was stripped by hand using wire brushes, roto discs, and 80 grit flap discs. Rest of the front I media blasted.

Its worth it, just a lot of hard hours required. I made templates of every hole I filled if you decide to tackle it, I'd be happy to send them to you. Might save a little time.

The car will be black as well as the engine bay. I may do ghost flames on the engine bay or the underside of the hood. Seems only right given my history.

I'm not painting it yellow I already have two yellow trucks.

It is an original factory black cobra and black is the best color to show off bodywork.

Ghost flames would be a nice ironic touch

Yeah, what douche nozzle would drive a yellow Mustang? Yellow is the worst possible color. I was thinking a nice blue or red. I've had two black cars. If you wash a black car, by the time you are hosing off the back, the front is dirty again.

Sorry about the edit, had to find uncensored words to use.
