I am new on here & trying to figure out what is wrong with my 05 v6. Running fine today until on my way home, lost all kind of pulling power, running rough & making a noise. so i pulled over & now its ideling real bad & a loud knocking noise under the hood. Also noticed an awful smell out of the exhaust. Not running hot, no oil lights coming on. No sign of anything!! As I stopped & it was ideling so hard it was shaking, it cuts off. My husband & dad thinks its the rocker arm or the valve springs may have broke. It will turn over but you have to hold the gas down for it to crank. Oh yeah now check engine light is on. Any other suggestions from anyone
