What do you mean they won't tighten down? When you set the lash you never were able to get them close to the torque setting? I know I had to use shims on mine, but that was when I went to rollers..
The TFS Stage 1 cam is probably ground on a smaller base circle than the stock cam, which means that you're gonna need longer pushrods to get the correct lifter preload. Buy a pushrod checker so you can find out which length pushrods you'll need.
yeah that is what I thought, I had a set of 1.6 rollers that tightened down with no movement but wouldn't clear my valve covers so I sold them and tried to go back stock but ran into this problem, now I have found a set of ford motorsport 1.6rr has anyone ran these with stock valve covers.
